Edna Louise Smith Moore, 83, of Altavista died Friday, April 19, 2019 at her home. She was born April 26, 1935 in Del Rio, TN, a daughter of the late Newton Smith and Lena Self Smith. She was a member of Blue Ridge Community Church. She is survived by two sons, Dale Moore and his wife, Lisa of Altavista and Lloyd Moore of Lake Anna; two daughters, Linda Moore Lambert and her husband, Tommy of Haymarket and Diane Moore Canard and companion, Patrick Billings of Danville; ten grandchildren, Tracey Herman of Haymarket, Tommy Lambert and his wife, Heather of Haymarket, Timmy Lambert of Haymarket, Opal Corell of Lynchburg, Andy Moore and his wife, Amy of Altavista, Michael Moore and his wife, Ginny of Stafford, Jason Moore of Nokesville, Amy Holley and her husband, Lynn of Gretna, Brian Canard of Myrtle Beach, SC and Brandi Harris of Gretna; and twenty-three great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 22, 2019 at Finch and Finch Chapel, Altavista by Pastor Matthew Speck with interment to follow in the Tree of Life Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Finch and Finch Funeral and Cremation Service, Altavista. The family would like to thank Edna's caregivers, Glenda Dalton, Brenda Muralles and Amanda Towles.
