Marian Conner Scott

Marian Conner Scott, 85, of 10016 Rockford School Road, Gretna died Monday, February 14, 2022 at Bright Leaf Place in Danville. She was the wife of the late Kyle Otis "Red" Scott. She was born February 1, 1937 in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Theo Hamilton Conner and Letha Arthur Conner. She was a member of Motley Baptist Church and a retired employee for over 34 years at Schrader Bridgeport. She is survived by one son, Kyle Randolph Scott and his wife, Brenda of Gretna; two daughters, Sherry Jane Gammon and her husband, Wayne of Evington and Cathy Gross Musho; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Scott of Gretna. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Alan Scott; three brothers, Wiley G. Conner, Kenneth Conner and Bill Conner; and one sister, Nancy Young. A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Motley Baptist Church by the Rev. Mitch Eldridge. The family will receive friends beginning one hour prior at the church and other times at the residence of Sherry, 4008 Bethel Church Road, Evington, VA 24550.
